Epstein Investigation. Bill Gates sat for a deposition with a House panel investigating Jeffrey Epstein. Gates told the House panel that he "should have never met" with Epstein. Reports also detail how the Epstein Files paralyzed the Trump White House.

Trump on Iran and Spy Powers. Trump warned that Iran will "pay the price" and claimed they have "taken too long" to agree to a deal. Separately, Trump backed a short-term extension for spy powers amid a fight with Senate GOP over Pulte. He asked Congress for a short-term FISA extension until the next DNI is confirmed.

Inflation and Social Security. US inflation picked up to a three-year high, with consumer prices rising 4.2% annually in May. This increase in inflation could lead to Social Security’s COLA being 4.7% in 2027. JPMorgan sees May as the CPI ‘High-Water Mark’ with the Fed set to hold rates.
